Cristal Murillo

President of the Board – Public Relations & Marketing Committee Chair

Cristal is the Sales Manager for KTXS. She has worked in the marketing and advertising industry for over 17 years. Cristal has raised her family in Abilene and joined the Keep Abilene Beautiful board as a way to give back to a wonderful community.

Akane has been a part of the Abilene community for a while now. She graduated from ACU with a degree in Communications, is a member of the Texas Economic Development Council and a current employee for the DCOA.

Board of Directors – Secretary

John is a financial advisor for Edward Jones. He and his wife moved to Abilene from Dallas where he worked at Goldman Sachs. John graduated from University of Texas with a Bachelors in Business Administration – Finance.

Chase Robertson

Board of Directors – Treasurer – Outreach & Education Committee Chair

Chase is a graduate from Texas Tech University where he obtained his Master’s of Science in Accounting. He is a Certified Public Accountant and Audit Associate with Condley and Company, LLP. Chase has also served in the United States Navy.

Reagan Van Coutren

Board of Directors

Reagan is a graduate of Baylor University with experience in anthropology and forensic science. She has received multiple awards for her research and moved to Abilene with family after graduation. Now she wants to serve the community of Abilene and has a heart of environmental responsibility and beautification.

Garrett Strickland

Board of Directors

Garrett is the Grocery Manager for Market Street. He has worked for United Supermarkets since he was 16 years old. Garrett referees local sporting events and is a community volunteer through and through. He delivers for Meals on Wheels, active with the March of Dimes and is the captain of the Market Street team. He can also be found volunteering for C.A.S.T. for Kids Foundation, car shows and cooking at local university sports tailgating events.

Aida Pantoja

Board of Directors

Aida holds a Bachelor’s of Electronic Engineering from ITT. She has served in numerous roles on local boards and organizations including: Sweetwater Municipal Auditorium (Chair for Musica Latina), Hispanic Leadership Council (Treasurer), Hispanic Business Council (Executive Board), Los Aficionados Grace Museum (Vice President) and Abilene Woman’s Club (Media Liaison). Aida works for a local publication.

Kyle Tolliver

Kyle Tolliver is the Operations Manager with Republic Services Abilene Landfill. He has spent the last 15 years working in environmental sustainability and continues to support his communities by volunteering, educating and assisting those in need. Kyle is concerned with maintaining the beauty of his community for today’s families as well generations to come. Kyle enjoys exploring this big beautiful world with his wife and family.

Growth in people, in every facet of there lives. My name is Deborah, I’m a Abilene native. Graduate of Angelo State University, with a degree in nursing. I’m an active member of Dismantling Bias Resource Circle (DBRC), Abilene Restorative Community Circle ( ARCC). I volunteer with Let Us Breath, non- profit. I am organizer of my Church youth and young adult annual, Bags of Hope to the homeless and some organization in the city. I have a heart for a more balance life for people , in every facet of there life..

Srinivas Valavala

City of Abilene Staff Liaison

With 20+ years of civil engineering and managerial experience, Srini currently works as the Divisional Head for Stormwater Services at the City of Abilene Department of Public Works. Organizationally, Stormwater Division hosts KAB’s operations and Srini serves as a liaison between KAB Board and the City. Prior to this role, Srini served as a Stormwater General Manager with Richland County, South Carolina, a program that was honored with the National Association of Counties (NACo) Achievement Award under his leadership in 2011. Srini served as an advisory member and organizational partner to the “national” watershed model – Gills Creek Watershed Association contributing to the organization’s revival, growth, watershed management plan, restoration projects and a mission development surge. With its success at the national level four more similar watershed groups he initiated and steered. Srini is a Certified Floodplain Manager (CFM) and holds double Masters – MBA from Moore School of Business and MS in Civil Engineering from the University of South Carolina.
