Akane Thaxton
President
Akane graduated from ACU with a degree in Communications, is a member of the Texas Economic Development Council and a current employee for the DCOA.

Kyle Tolliver
President-Elect
Kyle Tolliver is the Operations Manager with Republic Services Abilene Landfill. He has spent the last 15 years working in environmental sustainability and continues to support his communities by volunteering, educating and assisting those in need.

Chase Robertson
Treasurer
Chase is a graduate from Texas Tech University where he obtained his Master’s of Science in Accounting. He is a Certified Public Accountant and Audit Associate with Condley and Company, LLP. Chase has also served in the United States Navy.

Aida Pantoja
Secretary
Aida holds a Bachelor’s of Electronic Engineering from ITT. She has served on local boards and organizations including: Sweetwater Municipal Auditorium , Hispanic Leadership Council , Hispanic Business Council , Los Aficionados Grace Museum and Abilene Woman’s Club .

Deborah Williams
Board of Directors
Deborah is an Abilene native and graduate of Angelo State University, with a degree in nursing. She is an active member of Dismantling Bias Resource Circle (DBRC), Abilene Restorative Community Circle ( ARCC) and volunteers with the non-profit Let Us Breath.

Jennifer Pacheco
Executive Director
Jennifer attended McMurry University where she studied Marketing and currently works as the Stormwater Education and Keep Abilene Beautiful Coordinator for the Public Works Department of the City of Abilene. Prior to this role she served as the Multimedia Specialist with Parks and Recreation and the Marketing Coordinator for the Abilene Zoo.

Srinivas Valavala
City of Abilene Staff Liaison
With 20+ years of civil engineering and managerial experience, Srini currently works as the Divisional Head for Stormwater Services at the City of Abilene Department of Public Works. Organizationally, Stormwater Division hosts KAB’s operations and Srini serves as a liaison between KAB Board and the City. Prior to this role, Srini served as a Stormwater General Manager with Richland County, South Carolina, a program that was honored with the National Association of Counties (NACo) Achievement Award under his leadership in 2011. Srini served as an advisory member and organizational partner to the “national” watershed model – Gills Creek Watershed Association contributing to the organization’s revival, growth, watershed management plan, restoration projects and a mission development surge. With its success at the national level four more similar watershed groups he initiated and steered. Srini is a Certified Floodplain Manager (CFM) and holds double Masters – MBA from Moore School of Business and MS in Civil Engineering from the University of South Carolina.
